Just saw The Joker. Don’t know what to think. That was some dark stuff. The guy sitting in front of me walked out 10 minutes before the end. Its unforgettable though. .

I watched the Netflix movie about the making of Dolemite. For fans of Rudy Ray Moore, it is a must see. His life story was way more interesting than I knew. I am not sure if the general populous would like the movie though. It may depend on how much normal people love muthafuckin' rhymes.

Watched "The Irishman" yesterday, now on Netflix. Very good movie, maybe not Scorcese's greatest, but the acting was pretty damn good. No glorifying the mob here, all these guys are creeps. Loved that they pulled Joe Pesci out of retirement, and he was great, as well as the De Niro / Pacino interplay with the union goon Frank Sheeran and Jimmy Hoffa. The hard thing about the movie is its is very long, 3 and a half hours, but I guess anything shorter you would feel rushed. I didn't mind the sfx de-aging of the actors, less distracting than using young look-alikes for the flashbacks.
