Surprised how little people are talking about The Walking Dead anymore. Has it jumped the shark?

Supposedly "jump the shark" is that moment you know a show has lost it and will never be the same. I contend Happy Days reached that point MUCH earlier. Loved the first few seasons where it was all about Richie, Potsie, and Ralph. At some point it became The Fonzie Show, and it started heading downhill. The opening theme song is a pretty good indicator of the difference. The first two seasons (when I really liked the show) had Rock Around The Clock. Third season they started with the familiar Happy Days theme song, and started the "filmed before a live audience" thing. That's when the show started falling off the cliff. The shark thing wasn't until like the 5th season and it was already pretty bad by then. I don't remember when I completely gave up on it (back then), but it was long before Chachi and all the other lame characters started showing up.Last edited by Savage Lizard; 04-05-2014, 08:23 PM.

"Rectify" is interesting. Kind of a deep show about a guy just out of prison for a crime he may/may not have committed. Pretty brutal crime but the show works due to the lead actor's/character's depth. It's available through netflix. "Orphan Black" might also interest you. Kind of a Boys from Brazil type thing (cloning). But nothing to do with Hitler.
Coach, I love The Americans.
Another cool one is "America Unearthed". It's a H2 show about a forensic geologist who scours America for evidence of earlier than currently accepted European habitation (that's what I get from it). I love the show. Sort of like Ancient Aliens but with a more scientific approach. Here...http://delishows.com/page/2?s=america+unearthed There are two seasons of America Unearthed at that site.
I'm probably the only one man enough to say it but "Downton Abbey" is also great!
I also like "The Haunting Of...". Basically it profiles various Celebs encounters with the paranormal (ghosts) and with the help of a medium, provides resolution for a previously scared Celeb. I love it. It's on lifetime movie network I think.
Also from LMN is "Reincarnated: Past lives". Love it.
Someone mentioned "Longmire". I also like "The Bridge" on fx. Kind of reminds me of Longmire with troubled, though very able detectives.
TV is LOADED with excellent programming these days. Man.Last edited by Millionaire Wussy; 04-10-2014, 12:30 AM.For Stinky-Jon-Wizzleteats....

Justified just finished up it's season. Started out a little slow, but ended on a pretty good note. Looks like the final season will be what it should be Rayland vs. Boyd. Should be a great final act for a very good show

Another fun one is "Hangar 1: The UFO Files". It's in it's first season. It seems like a pretty good show on the subject. You can catch them all on delishows.comLast edited by Millionaire Wussy; 04-13-2014, 07:08 AM.For Stinky-Jon-Wizzleteats....

I'm not much for making time to watch TV series, but a friend lent me the first 2 seasons of Castle.
I have a little time now because I'm rehabbing my knee, but I wanted to ask if the show is any good before I decide if I want to watch it. I could probably sit though a few episodes first, but I just need an overview of whether the show has some storytelling issues of is consistent. I don't wanna get sucked in for a weekend and bail halfway through because its not developing. Does that make sense?Dean Spanos Should Get Ass Cancer Of The Ass!
