Why the personal birth date information when scanning avatars?

Does age really matter? Why include that? Not that I'm self-conscious about my age.

It makes me feel weird seeing everyone's age when placing the cursor over an avatar.

Consider changing that, if you would. Is that really necessary info?

Is there anyway for members to hide that? No? Why? How critical is it? Not much? Then why? Why have that info by default here?

Its a Vbulletin default. You have to go into your personal settings and hide that info.
