Titans 4 offensive possessions to win the game, fail
Vikings, failed 4th and one, defense saves the day.
Raiders, failed 4th and one, defense saves the day. 0 points in the 2nd half.
Cowboys, failed 4th and one. Need a FG to tie two minutes left, fail.

The defense a big problem and it appears Staley can't fix it. BUT the offense is not getting the job done.
Those numbers are in the past. Herbert has not been good ever since the rib injury.

Exactly. He was the master of the dink and dunk.

I think Moore and Herbert have to recalibrate. Moore was brought in to design plays which would take advantage of Herbert’s long ball strength and increase completion yards per catch.

This has backfired because Herbert’s holding the ball longer behind an OL which is inept at pass protect.

Moore has to overhaul the scheme and recognize getting the ball out faster on shorter routes has to be the objective. There’s still opportunities for bombs in that scheme, but just more seldom.

For crying out loud, just copy Miami, the best offense in the league. Tua drops back and immediately fires it. There is little to no chance of sacking him or disrupting his tempo.

Before you say he doesn’t have cheetah for receivers, it doesn’t matter….there just isn’t likely to be as many yards after the reception but they can all still get initial separation with well designed routes and timing.

This has been true for YEARS!!!

Mike Williams is "the king of the CONTESTED catch"!!! Well all his catches are contested because the guy gets zero seperation.
Keenan is a great POSSESION receiver. He hant had great YAC ability in years.
Palmer is a poor mans Keenan.

That is why it is so puzzling that we aren't trying to give QJ and Davis a bigger role in the O.

I got blasted this spring for daring to suggest they should have parted ways with Allen and if possible Bosa to not push all that cap. I would have suggested Williams but his dollars this year were guaranteed and Allen's were not. It was that simple

You are right about Williams - overrated and can't stay on the damn field.
Allen is a fine possession, in fact, very good receiver and yes Herbert missed him twice but he doesn't have YAC

That end around to Everett- again, why not use QJ or Davis for that,

Allen needs something more opposite him.

QJ sucks is why he doesn't have a roll. Might be a #3 wr down the road. Bad pick by TT
