This implies that Adderley will get more snaps, King will have a much varied role, and more Blitzkrieg tactics will be employed.

Thanks for the heads up on this wood.

    The ninja take......

    GusD says in essence.....
    - POSITIONLESS D/Back7 is what we’re trying to acquire enough talent to put on the field
    - D is full of big talent, team first, high character, self driven DUDES
    - Nasir will be given every opportunity to get on the field be it at NCB, BCB, FS
    - Playmakers on the field to generate turnovers
    - Loves what CHJR brings to our secondary and team
    - Linval has a chip, over the top personality, leadership traits, and will be a media/fan favorite
    - Tillery looks to be bigger, heavier, stronger, more physical, with improved hand skills from offseason work
    - Referred to his experience with the last lockout shortened season in how to prepare
    - GusD is not a technology wizard much like myself
    - We will see more
—— Blitzing, dictating matchups, coverage variations with Cov3/Cov2/M2M concepts

    My 2021 Adopt-A-Bolt List

    MikeDub
    K9
    Nasir
    Tillery
    Parham

Stuff happens. Maybe this year we'll catch a good break or two.
Yea....honestly, I think the only reason we are so low, is uncertainty at QB...good chance Tyrod doesn't kill it...or an upstart rookie gets the job, and suffers the typical growing pains. Outside looking in? I wouldn't bet on us...but...I wouldn't put the whole paycheck against, either...I think it could go either way for us.
      Adopted Bolt: Scott Matlock

Final prediction: Latham OT, Colson LB, Sainristil CB,Rice WR, Zinter OG, Nourzad OC, MacLachlan TE, Vidal RB, Lovett DT

That cannot bode well, with all the speed in our division.
Too often Jenkins is late to react, which tells me after 3 years in the league, he's still not reading the opposition very well.
I'd certainly be more inclined to leave him in the box, ala Philipps.

          Half way between
          positionless defender
          and
          player without a position.
          Get comfortable with being uncomfortable.

Do you mean the same Rayshawn that led our secondary in INTs and tackles?

Whatever Gus designs for the defense - as long as it allows the best player to be the playmaker and in my opinion, a top 6-8 defensive player in this league - thats fine by me. I get the part about scheme and players having to do their job. But the other 10 guys need to allow DJ33 to be the star he will be!!

AL must have famously labeled Jenkins as "elite"
in order to get Rayshawn's juices going.

Loyal Lynn said a while back that Rayshawn Jenkins was playing "at an elite level"--hence "Mr. Elite."

"Mr. Elite" made a lot of tackles, but he also whiffed a lot. Just like Old Man Davis...

I'll give Rayshawn this--at least he wasn't as bad as Jatavis "Launchwhiffie" Brown:

Tranquill did better than both of them:
