Well, I guess I need to be careful what I wish for. Conner will get his chance now, so let's see what he's got. Of course, this only weakens our depth, so it's a loss either way. I should have given Manti (in another thread) credit for having such a good game against Buffalo. I jinxed him.

Yep, he showed me a little something in the Buffalo game. Now, vs Seattle it was more mixed, but I def noticed him a little more. Most of his tenure, he's kind of been a ghost as I watch games. But he was starting to show some signs of life and I was optimistic. Obviously many who didn't like the pick in the first place will seize upon this to label him a bust. With recurrent injury that sure looks like a real possibility, but I wasn't ready to give up on his play just yet.

I think Conner is the better player right now. I really like him. But as you say, it affects depth. And I doubt Conner will be as prevalent on ST (where he has excelled) as he's been to date.

Coming into the season, we were really worried about the DL. Three weeks in, RB is a wasteland. LB is catching up. OL still reeling from knock-on issues from Hardwick.

Not to jinx things, but you know, Butler has a tendency to get injured. And we're giving a lot of run to Freeney, something we all agreed preseason wasn't a good idea. Paging Jerry Attaochu. Here's your chance.
