Considering how long he has been on the team, he played pretty well. Still issues with the exchange, but that happens when the QB and C barely know each others names.

The OL has to start playing better. We lead the league in negative plays, and most of them are in the running game. That is what kills drives is negative and really short gains in the running game, and it has kept Seattle and Buffalo in those games.

He did not play pretty well. He survived the game without getting replaced but he was bad

I thought Legursky sucked too, but I'm going to side with the Steve over what I thought I saw. Legursky played pretty well.

Understandable. Most of this board doesn't believe their own opinion

I thought he was terrible and it wasn't even the mishandled snap. It was the illegal snap where he pumped faked that really pissed me off. A vet center simply shouldn't do that. That's the type of stuff I would expect Watt to make, not a guy with 30 some starts. He has no excuse for that.

The jets have a very good D line, they need to get their shit together quickly.

HE learned the offense, all the line calls, and adjustments in about 2 weeks. Considering everyone else at least had part of the offseason and TC (where they get 2 practices a day), just being able to go out and know what is happening is more than anyone on this board could have done in a similar circumstance.

The key to good OL play is to have all the blockers (including FB and TE) working in unison, feet and arms acting as a big machine, in synch. The fact that he was in there at all said we were in no position to be picky. The OL wasn't any worse then it has been in any of the other games. If anyone gets a pass, it should be the new guy.

                      Haha. I'm no o'line expert.
I know some stuff - the obvious stuff.
I can tell Oliver, so far, has run better than Brown. (But, I'm no blocking expert, and can't tell if Oliver can pass block.)
I could tell our passing game was going to be better than our running game today and that we needed to get away from the ball-control offense fast.
But, what the offensive linemen are doing? Unless it's obvious, I'm not going to catch it.
Maybe all those bad snaps were Rivers' fault. Maybe the bad runs up the middle had nothing to do with Legursky. I don't know. I'll defer to Steve on that one. He seems like he knows stuff. So, if he says Legursky played well, I'll trust him over what I think I saw. Just like I'll trust your super TV with replay ability over my not-so-reliable television sound as to whether fans were too loud during an offensive play.
