'Roo I believe you have great memories of AFL Championships.

Well, that was just before my time.

That disasterous AFLCG at Balboa, the day after Christmas was my beginning, as a boy. UGHH.

It HAS been a long time, Sir.

I want LAC to hoist the Lombardi for you, Chargeroo, 8/9/60, everybody.

Not a fan either but if he did come to the Chargers I’ll root for him while he is here and curse him on his way out.

              Root for a cheater ?
The only positive point is that Brady runs a little bit more than Rivers.
              That's not enough.
The negative ? The pay check.

If Brady comes to the Chargers, I'll let bygones be bygones. If he helps get the Chargers to somewhere they have failed to do since 1994-1995.

So people hate the idea of a member of the cheating Patriots coming to Charger land. Well, there's people here who congratulate the murderer Chiefs on their championship, which I can't do. One of these things deserve another.

                      Not what I meant.

Did you know when be tested positive for a "substance", it was before preseason? He knew it was coming, was told he tested possitive and was having a good year.
Do you think he was still using a "substance" after testing positive? I'd say no way.
Then he served the suspension. And when he came back from that suspension, he had like 7 sacks in 5 games....something like that. Surely he couldn't have still be using a "substance" then. Right?

Then the hit on him by Fisher and that was it.

If Brady becomes a Charger - I will root for him. I will still root for Rivers too when he is a Colt - even if he is a Patriot. Though I think the Colts have much more money to spend. I have been a San Diego Chargers fan since the mid 70's - I was a kid. Now I am still a Chargers fan (I refuse to put the words L and A in front of it, yes I am in denial ) - but I can quit the powder blues - can quit that Bolt!

So, if Brady comes - I will root for the team. I truly do not know if its the right move. I get how important a QB is to the team. Not saying that. But just trying to determine what team is better for the Bolts

Brady with the 6th pick an OT, maybe sign a player like Reader or Hargove in FA for DT, draft a WR and CB and fill in the rest with lower cost free agents

                        or
pick Herbert at 6, sign Conklin and a DT in FA, maybe have more money to extend Bosa, still draft WR and CB

I know what team is better in 2020 and I know which team is probably better 2021-2021

First, I don't think they continue to test him once he was caught. I don't know. Even if they do, the impacts of steroids don't wear off overnight. I don't think there is much, or any risk to using after you get caught, but before the suspension kicks in.

He was never the same player after the steroids suspension. He never really came back from the injury, which is another sign of past steroid use. Similar to Castillo, who used steroids in his post surgery recovery prior to the NFL draft, and then got hurt right and left, similar to what happened to Merriman.

Ingram doesn't get enough credit for the things he does that don't show up on the stat sheet. The previous several season, he was the MLB on a goalline D that was pretty good. He gave up a lot of sack opportunities by moving inside on long down and distances and gave us an inside pass rush, even though his personal stat sheet would be much better if he stayed outside.

Ingram is in the final year of a deal and is going to have to come to grips that he is not going to get the same kind of money on his next deal. That is not just with us, no team is going to pay him top dollar at his stage of his career. However, unless we are prepared to spend a quality pick on a replacement, there is a very good chance that if we let him go, Bosa's production will tank, at a time when if he stays, we will be paying him elite player money.
