Not every WR option is too expensive in price to acquire or salary. Example...there is lots of trade talk around the Broncos...and they might not want to trade within the division but i read on ESPN the rumoured price for Jerry Jeudy is a 3rd rounder....he is ona rookie contract and tons of potential to keep long term...first rounder with lots of talent

So i ask how would you rather use a 3rd round pick?
    Jerry Jeudy
    Tre McKitty
    JT Woods
Great question, and I’ll be honest I’ve only watched Jeudy because he’s in division. I think he’s a tremendous talent. I’d go that route.

Lets look at the full body of work in the 3rd round for interest sake. I think a talent like Jeudy stacks up pretty well

      2022 JT Woods

      2021 Trey McKitty, Josh Palmer

      2019 T Trey Pipkins

      2018 DT Justin Jones

Exactly my point I made earlier about 3rd and 4th rounders

Maybe Telesco is waiting until teams are truly open for business - but if they are selling Monday, they are probably selling today.

I just know Telesco is going to "wait and see the health of Palmer" and both he and Allen will have setbacks next Thursday - post deadline

Jeudy for a third would be a steal

I would submit a healthy Palmer and Allen isn’t enough without Williams. Team needs another WR that’s not just a body but a real threat and Telesco needs to find and trade for one right now!!

Makes Telesco look even worse of he does nothing to address his depleted WR core
The rich get richer. Or at least try.

Let's give Telesco another 10 years to figure it out.

I predict the Chargers do nothing at WR.

Marginal guys off practise squads dont count

Every team in the league is finding it difficult to have two good OT's. So yea, I count Pipkins as a good pick. We all knew (maybe with the exception of you) that he was picked for the future and now he is our starting RT. By the way, it's his third year. He's gone out there giving all he has on a bad ankle and he's been pretty good.

I think it was fair for me to name a couple of third rounders that were good since you picked a couple to point out as bad. Heck, there are guys in the HOF that were picked in the third round! The point is; by the third round of the draft you win some and lose some.

IMO, Palmer is marginal too. That leaves Allen who could easily suffer reinjuring his hamstring and missing the rest of the season.

If the team doesn’t trade for a quality WR right now Telesco is playing Russian roulette with the rest of the season with no empty chambers in the gun.

No way Denver deals with us, even if it benefits them
Optics already look bad for them, if Jeudy thrives, it's even worse.
Denver needs as many safe and small wins to offset their major loss in RW.

Melvin ‘fumbles” Gordon is probably available.

I wasn't trying to imply that the team would be on board with losing. Unfortunately, however, the REALITY of the situation is that wasting draft picks on band-aids would be just another example of poor choices that this team has historically made. Doing nothing saves valuable draft capital while the rest of this lost season plays out. An extra win or two is not worth giving up even a 6th-round pick. In fact, an extra win or two can probably be considered a bad thing. A 7-win season is probably enough to save Telesco's and Staley's jobs. Does anybody want that?

P.S. Even 7 wins is big stretch for this sorry bunch.
