How messed up that would of been for Rivers, he would have played immediately for NYG or Pitt but had to sit 2 years in S.D. and then if traded could have had no career.

    Weird how things work out.

Younghoe Koo: From being cut by the Chargers to the Pro Bowl with the Peregrines. With help from John Carney. Good read.

When Younghoe Koo was named to the Pro Bowl on Monday, it marked the culmination of a three-year journey that almost ended before it began.

I've been saying the Chargers should call Carney and ask him to help Badgley. This article confirms that it's a good idea.

Truth that. The guy is a magician working with kickers. Badgley might want to reach out to Carney himself, if he wants to keep his NFL career.

I'm watching the Dolphins/raiders game - Tua having a lot more trouble with the raiders defense than Herbert did.

True but the Raiders had more time to prepare for them than they did for us since we played in a Thursday.
Tua hasn't been that great as of yet.

We also had a short turn around and the raiders had already played us once. I think Herbert is just THAT good! It sure isn't because we have the better OL!

So far it is no contest: Herbert > Tua. Not only does Herbert have a monster arm, he also has great touch on the dump off passes, which gives the RB a chance to quickly accelerate after the catch.

Tua having BIG problems pushing the ball down field.
Now, where, as Chargers fans, have we seen an athletic QB unable to push the ball down field?
I'm not saying Tua is Tyrod-like but he's certainly more Tyrod than Herbert.

                      Watching Matt Ryan.
Atlanta NEEDS to draft a QB. This guy makes so many bad decisions for a former MVP. Playing more like a rookie than Justin is.

Herbert has the problem where the coaching staff seems reluctant to push the ball downfield.
