An attacking defense will risk quicker scores for more turnovers
which is a good match for a powerful offense
It’s a good risk because at worst, the offense gets the ball back quicker
We can dictate the tempo through our offense

Not really true......a long time ago that was true, but not today with today's rules......does KC, PIT, Ravens blitzing defenses give up a ton of points...and blitzing causes rushed throws and turnovers...... yet chargers super conservative defense gives up many huge plays and easy scores......

You need a combination of blitzing and good coverage...and unfortunately, Gus rarely blitzes, and his defensive scheming puts too much pressure on the FS to stop the deep threat...

agree.... that is why he has to go..... and when he does blitz, guys rarely get to the QB...... he blitzes the wrong time with the wrong players......

Murray should be a great blitzer because of his speed and impact but i don't recall ever seeing him sent after the QB????? ....why does Gus love to let the QB have as much time as they need???

trade him for a player that can help this team: OL, LBer, CB, S, RB, WR, ..... alot of players would help this team now .....

We arent going no where this year. Ill talke the draft pic which can also be used to trade up or for another player later. We arent going to get a starter in return for Tyrod. Especially from Dallas. There only 2 or 3 guys id even want and they wont trade them to us for him.

Because Gus thinks the front 4 is good enough. It's not. And they made no moves to improve the defense lines while teams like Seattle, the Saints, Lions and the Steelers who already have a good defense did

agree..... Gus also likes that picket fence defense where we form a wall a yard or 2 short pf the first down on 3rd and forever plays and do not attempt to tackle until the ball carrier gets to where they are ..... either pushing their way to the first down or giving them field position where they can punt us inside our 20 or 10 yard line....
I do not think any of our safeties can handle playing deep center in a cover 3..... playing cover 2 would cut down on the massive number of big plays our defense hasd giv en up this year.....

and the NFL's current best defenses blitz like crazy..... we need to be doing that to force
QB's to get rid of the ball before they want to......

Patriots offense looked like they know what the defense will do.
It's the same this year.
