I don't understand why it's so controversial or why anybody thinks it should be banned. It's no different from a non-goal-line scrum in which the offense is pushing their ball carrier forward while the defense is trying to bring him down. It happens all the time in the NFL. But I also think it's risky to do that to your QB. If Hurts gets injured during a tush push that will be the end of it.

As Richard Sherman pointed out, defenders can't push other defenders from behind on fgs and extra points for player safety reasons, yet the offense can push the QB from behind on the sneak. Not very consistent rules.

Caleb Williams looks like the next Mahomes, but he may not be too happy going to Chicago. Probably one of the reasons why his Pops continues to talk about the possibility of him coming back for another year . . . . . . . . . . . . keeps his options open if the 'winner' of first selection in the 24 draft is not to his liking. he makes alot more then when I was playing. A guy like Reggie Bush could’ve made 40 million. He was the most popular player in California. And people gave him shit for having a house for his family???

If Caleb Williams wins 2 Heismans and a National Championship he can have a blank check at USC no need to go play for a shit team and become another Kyler Murray or a Bryce Young.
