Before we get too cocky, in the 3rd quarter we ran 7 plays for a total of -16 yards and zero first downs so it's not like some of the same issues that plagued us last year didn't show up last night. But overall it looked much better, as least as far as you can tell with backups.

Ouch. Max Duggan looked like he thought he was still playing Georgia

I hung out with old pals last night, pumping them up for their Super Bowl. Todays game between the Niner and Raiders is going to be their highlight this year.

I thought we might bring Stick out to start the 3rd after the talk about "middle 8". nope It took Moore / Duggan a while to get going. We ran the heck out of it in the end though. Two long TDs.

The Chiefs 2020 draft was a bucket of stink.

Sarell played LT and Pleasants RT all game long. I saw Clapp at C, Bailey at RG and Kaskey and Jaimes played late.

Excellent. If you've the time and the patience, try an audit of the personnel packages of just the Chargers offensive snaps. Usually around 50-60 reps a game.

I find auditing offensive reps an interesting way to view the gameplan. As I view a drive in football, like rock-climbing. Every once in a while, you have to tie off to keep from falling. And the more often you tie off, the safer you'll be. Running the ball is tying the metaphorical safety rope. My scouting report on Moore is he has his offense execute a high degree of concepts on your defense. And when success is achieved by Moore and his offense, it is exploited. That is what I see when I audit Moore's offense. I hope to post my personnel audits after Charger games starting Week One.

The TD run Number #2 by Elijah Dotson had a double team on the playside and a pulling OG, run out of 11 Personnel.

I counted eight Rams lost in the wash in the box. Can you imagine this team with a consistent run game?
