Why is Diggs to the Chargers even a thing? We don't have the money to fit him in, WR is probably the second strongest area of the roster behind our starting QB and if we did have money, I would spend it other places. We don't need a sulking diva of a receiver even if he is elite.Comment

we're not going after Diggs, and Buffalo isn't shopping him to my knowledge. That said - the chart shows cap hits but not the guaranteed salary portion. I believe, welcome correction, the signing bonus portion of those cap hits will stay with Buffalo and his next team would only be obligated for the annual salary, roster bonuses, etc., that hit in the playing years?Originally posted by Boltjolt View Post

. QJ is the real deal, he might be the best receiver on the roster before the first quarter of the season is over, not kidding. Pokey may be a big upgrade to the insurance policy stashed on PS. we are loaded at WR. Guyton is better than any of the backups used last year. Shit - its likely that Palmer falls to backup and is only used in occasional 4-WR sets plus occasional sub plays for Slayer and Dub to catch their breath for a play or two. We don't have room for Diggs or Hop, its the last group on the entire roster to spend more cap on imo.

It's fair to say that we don't have an established top starter there. The coaches seem OK with the current prospects. My guess is they want to see how it goes in training camp / preseason.
