Funny thing is that everyone here was bashing Gruden for all the changes and moves he was making. The sad reality is that they have both a better team and a brighter future than we do now. All within two years.

But they are barely beating Jax at home in their last game in Oakland.. Raiders aren't all that good, but they are still mathematically alive.

Not saying they are good yet but they are a young team on an upward trend where as we seem to be going the opposite way.

I kind of like the approach Gruden took as he recognized he had a mediocre team with a treadmill trajectory(much like us) with no probable chance for a super bowl win and bit the bullet to rebuild completely.

If you know you don't have a chance for a Superbowl, what's the point of hanging on and fielding a treadmill team?
