Oh, gosh, of course you are right about Tenpenny. I even made that very point in another thread. Strange that I ignored that thought in the post that you cited. Good catch. I don't know which player it will be as the 15th cut, but I might be tempted to say Wiggins instead of Becton.

Jeffcoat is a small 4-3 DE. I am not sure he can play OLB and even if he can, what does he give us that T. Williams does not? Does Jeffcoat understand the meaning of the word "contain"? That might be one thing, but I am not convinced that T. Williams is not physically a better athlete. T. Williams is certainly more stout against the run (albeit without having a clue as to what the word "contain" means).

I think it may be possible to upgrade our 5th OLB and ultimately cut T. Williams by adding someone cut from another roster, but I do not think Jeffcoat is that someone.

At this point I'd rather keep Law, but Tourek's work on ST's will likely keep him on the roster.

I haven't noticed Tourek do anything on special teams. Law has had a couple nice special teams tackles though..

Mainly pointing to him getting ST snaps last year. He knows the scheme and athletic enough to run down the field.

Tourek has been pretty disappointing to me, especially after how much JJ talked him up this camp. From what has been reported, the coaching staff seems real high on him but it sure hasn't translated to the field this preseason. I wonder if they keep him for the dreaded "potentional".
