They will be unable to retain him--price of Stafford's GIANT contract.
Scheme flexible.

Pay the man.
Looking at the Chargers cap - Benjamin is going to count 1.5m because Telesco was stupid last offseason. What a dumb move. TElesco cannot be that dumb again with Perryman and MEbane. He needs to cut those chords.

My dark secret is that I am a Trencher too...just very picky and selective.
There is only so much capital to work with.
We are gonna squeeze all the juice outta this orange.

But for bleeps sake - fix the damn OL and really try to upgrade the interior of the DLine and MLB. I know this watching football for as long as I have
A good OL can help maximize the RB and WR
a Good DL and front seven can make up for your average DBs over the DBs being better with a weaker Front 7
So Telesco - fix the damn OL!!

I’m going to list my list of FA targets in that thread but here are the Olinemen I like for us. With AL implying again we are changing scheme to an attacking movement system (ie donkey/9er) with athletic linemen and PA/moving pocket/rollouts/boots. That leads to a mobility at QB and ball security.
These are my dudes. Bold = ideal fits.
OT TARGETS
Jack Conklin, Brian Bulaga, **GEORGE FANT**, Jason Spriggs
IOL TARGETS
Joe Thuney, **GRAHAM GLASGOW**, Alex Lewis, ** CONNOR MCGOVERN **My 2021 Adopt-A-Bolt List

Spriggs is an interesting name because of the Campen connection
Fant - the Seahawks have the cap space to bring him back
I think Bulaga is too old - already have Okung
Glasgow I like.
I wonder how much Glasgow and Spriggs would cost

Glasgow will be in the $9-$12ish million yearly range.
Fant- is the ideal fit (less injury history). Big time athlete, no real bad habits, and excellent length. Will the hags spend $6.5-$10 yearly million on a multi year contract? My 2021 Adopt-A-Bolt List
