HE is also such a good fit for us. Smart, can play a lot of coverages. Fills our biggest need from last year.

You have to think there's already been contract details exchanged between the two parties or an agent wouldn't really let his client make the trip. First trips are a lot of the times formalities.

Well look at that....TT HAS some balls. Im sure hes got someone's contract ready to be redone like Rivers or Clary to get more cap space to make it feasible. This would be a huge win for our D.

I could be excited about Flowers given his history of solid performance....

Although I AM concerned that we are easily going to have the smallest secondary in the league. Our two starting CBs are only 5'9" in an age of taller/bigger/more-physical WRs? Just seems odd we'd continue to go in this direction.

Again though, given the alternatives (or lack thereof), I am actually hoping we DO sign Flowers.

Like you said, he has a history of solid performance, his height hasn't really been an issue and I think Shareece Wright is 5'11", not 5'9". Definitely hoping we sign Flowers, was really surprised he was released.

Everything I read says he's now a nickle back. No way I'm paying him anything near what he's getting now. Bring him in, give him a low to mid value one year contract and let him rebuild his career here.
