I'm always about the draft. I put my case of beer in front of me, get real high. And, then about 5 minutes into it, I'm flipping the channel or just going outside. I usually don't have the attention span to make it to the first pick.

Then I check the Internet later to find out who we got. And, generally after that, I still know nothing until the season starts and these new guys start playing (or not playing).

I still say, fuck the draft. Make all rookies free agents. Start signing people as soon as the Super Bowl ends and keep it going until the season starts. As long as there is a salary cap and revenue sharing, we really don't need a draft. Why do I have to wait til May for something to happen? And why does it have to happen in front of Mel Kiper and a bunch of Jets fans?

Holy shit! I just got finished hearing Ravens DE Chris Canty say Dee Ford is the most NFL ready pass rusher in college! That includes Clowney, Mack, and Barr! I like your pick, AFKBKR!

I would be happy with Dee Ford at #25 and if we did trade down then Kyle Van Noy would be good if Ford was gone.

If we abolish the time limits I could go on picking. That's not a slight to Bolt-O at all. He got us this far....but it takes too much out of you to be diligently hanging around the computer all day waiting for your pick to come up (because you don't want to be passed over).

Anyways, thank you Bolt-O (sincerely) but I say we go no time limits and simply do the best we can from here on out. Even if it means we take longer.

Why hang around a computer? Why not PM whoever is on the clock? When I get a PM, my phone gets a notification from my email that I have a message. Don't you guys? Seems to me whoever moderates should just PM the next drafter.
