So I guess only one major hole this offseason. Funny how that changes in just a matter of hours.

I would MUCH prefer Lissemore in a rotational role. I like the guy, but let's not go pumping him up too much. He's a solid depth guy, in a starting role he's likely to be exposed over the course of a season.

Based off what? He looked pretty good last year as a starter. Give him an offseason to get bigger and I don't see why he couldn't handle it. It's not like a NT is a three down guy anyway. This might fill one of our biggest needs (that was for you oip)

How is NT not a rotational role?

my biggest concern is we don't seem to really develop young DL talent into quality consistent starters ever since Don Johnson has been here. The staff must see something in that guy I don't grasp to keep him around. We only get better than average results on a consistent basis at NT with a vet like Jamal, (healthy) Garay or Franklin there and our young DTs and DEs never live up to expectations no matter where we find them. Given they kept Johnson, it flat out won't matter if we go with Lissemore/Geathers at NT- or spend a 1st round pick on 1 since we know they won't develop beyond a certain mediocre point.
Life is too short to drink cheap beer

Name one draft pick you think could've developed into a quality starter. I got Luiget and Reyes (duh) and that's it.

Remember the days when people used to say Steelers always know how to draft and develop players, and why is it that we can't be like them....feels weird when they sign a guy we've developed to be okay off the bench.......

                        ??

He's not okay off the bench, that's why we moved on.

Plus they seem to want him to be a starter, good luck with that.
