Yep, Tutu's got that #6 WR spot locked down. Now if we could just get #2 through #5 figured out, we'd be cooking with Crisco.

In the next couple of weeks, we will see who is being brought back. Then we can start to figure out what priority needs there are in terms of holes and how to fill them.
WR is not really a priority need, unless Royal or Brown gets cut. If they are both back, I would prefer we draft players and let them compete. Bringing vet players back, doesn't necessarily mean that they will even be on the week 1 roster. It just means that we can use them if we need too. Guys like Brown (either), Clary, Reinhart and Marshall have some value. They aren't going to play great, but they are known commodity and steady vets. So, bring in draft picks and then push those guys. Even some of the top UDFA can have some value at that.
Just don't expect vets to be immediately displaced. How many rookies out of last year were starters? And of those guys, how many were starters all season long? Even a lot of relatively high picks don't play that well initially (Ingram?). You are gambling if you think a rookie is going to come in and play as well as a vet will. In many cases, you will be better off in the long run, but that is not the same as being a better team now.
Just bring in younger players were we can, let them compete, and if they win the job, they get to start/play. Keep giving them reps all season long, and there is a good chance they will be able to compete down the road.

There is some real talent coming up at this position via draft. Not that we have a shot at any of them due to our vividly apparent weakness on defense. In my opinion it is the deepest position coming into the combine. As long as we follow what I think should be a CB/OL/WR/(CB--if not FA), we should still have a valid shot at a number of them. Marquise Lee, Sammy Watkins and Mike Evans are all for sure going in the first couple rounds if not completely in the first, but there are other guys unintentionally going into the combine "unknown" just because of how deep the position is. Rant thinks there could be up to 40 wrs going overall. Gotta be a sleeper or two in there that go unnoticed through 2 rounds. It's all about whether or not Telesco can find them.
edit* Only 29 went last year, 33 the year before in 2012
