I love the "we hired the best individual for the job" portion of the statement.

You have to think if they'd known how poorly this was going to go, they'd have probably held on the Chud for another season at least, and let him prove himself.

Pettine may be a great guy, and I don't cheer for people to fail normally (obvious exceptions other AFC West squads), but I hope this fails, because I think Chud got a raw deal, and because that's what their management deserves. (not the Browns fans, though)
