It would be better if we brought our San Diego weather and the Bengals had to win based on actually being the better team and not just being the team more used to the cold. I think Dan Fouts would play better as an old geezer in SD weather than he did in his prime in the Freezer Bowl. I don't think we would have lost that game under normal circumstances.

I'm hoping that Fluker is taking it personally that his college team lost, and he can take it out on those kitty cats.

The real worry is shortly after the game. Its going to get cold in Cincy. Really cold. The temperatures drop drastically going into the evening Sunday. (Note the low temp for Sunday- it comes later that night.. and the next day the *high* temp is anywhere from -2 to 7 depending on the site you look at) So, the only thing to worry about regarding the game is if that deep freeze comes in earlier than expected.
If there is a 10 MPH wind, its going to feel like closer to zero.

Alabama losing is definitely due to the Bengals hatred toward Fluker.

Snow will help the run game. Both teams are good at running the ball though.

                        Heavy snowfall expected during Bengals-Chargers

Posted by Darin Gantt on January 4, 2014, 9:45 AM EST

AP It might not be Green Bay cold, but it’s going to be frigid enough in Cincinnati, with the chance of a heavy snowstorm which could lend a layer of drama to tomorrow’s Bengals-Chargers game.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for Sunday, and predicts between 4 inches and 8 inches of snow in the Cincinnati area, according to Adam Kiefaber of the Cincinnati Enquirer.

Of course, it could be worse. It could be turkeys falling from the sky.

Sunday’s predicted high is 36 degrees, but temperatures are expected to fall below freezing around 3 p.m. (i.e. the third quarter), when the heaviest snowfall is expected to begin.

That could make for a some stunning visuals in the second half, but a real danger after the game, as a twisted-arm sell-out crowd tries to make its way out of downtown during a blizzard, and the Chargers try to fly back to California
