There is a scenario where the Chargers win the next three, and the Chiefs and Raiders win no more than 2 games, that the Chargers clinch in week 16. It won't matter who is in the seats at stubhub, as they'll start Rivers for a quarter, and shut down the rest of the starters.

Since all our home games have been away games, traveling to wherever for a playoff game won't be as big a deal, just another winnable matchup.

      Just keep winning, baby.

I dont think the players care anymore what teams fans show up. I think it sort of motivates them now.

Exactly, they're road warriors at this point.

Tom Brady and Russell Wilson have been vocal about their goals to play well into their forties. Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers, however, is under no illusions he'll be in the NFL for another decade.

The Chargers boast the talent to be among the top teams in the AFC for years to come: a veteran quarterback, dynamic No. 1 receiver (Kennan Allen), workhorse running back (Melvin Gordon), deep threats on the edge (Travis Benjamin, Tyrell Williams), playmaking tight end (Hunter Henry), young first-round receiver (Mike Williams), the best pass rushing duo in the NFL (Joey Bosa, Melvin Ingram), thumping LB back from injury (Denzel Perryman), and a smothering secondary (Casey Hayward, Trevor Williams, Desmond King, Jahleel Addae, Tre Boston).

It might not be until he's 45, but with that team, it's difficult envisioning Rivers hanging up his bolo tie anytime soon.

It seems the only thing missing on that list are decent special teams (i.e depth) and a solid OL. Add some situational awareness and decent coaching, you get a nice cake.
