    Newsflash: It's not the Oline

Gordon left so many yards on the field today it's just sick. Our OL may be only slightly better than average, but Gordon makes them look so much worse. He looks like the pro game is too too big for him.

We are still a lot better at pass blocking than run blocking imo. Okung had a good game. Get Lamp back. Sign a Center. Draft Defense early.

I say defense early too. Safety, DT, and DE especially.

I don't know. Rivers was under pressure today. It seems he got touched or fell down whenever he release the ball, especially in the 1st half. He released the ball just in time to not getting sack. The OL still has a lot to improve. Maybe we actually need some physical talent on that line. The BUF game last week were the only game so far that the OL was playing a physical game.

Our oline is not slightly better than average. Rivers was the difference in the game. He had an answer for everything the Cowboys tried. Gordon had another mediocre game, taking the wrong holes, going down easily, and further cementing that we need a new starting RB next season. But the line gives him little room to work.

The line gave him enough to more than double his yards today, had he been, well, better. The Oline didn't leave those yards on the field, Gordon did. Inexcusable.

Rivers plays like a Hall of Fame QB today. He audibles a lot today. Whatever he calls, it works. He changed the play to a run, it works. Changed it to the pass, it works. He was masterful on 3rd downs.

The Oline isn't great, but who's is?

they got the job done today.
(and they're better than they get credit for, not saying they are world beaters, but no sacks today? That's something. )
"...of course that's just my opinion, I could be wrong."

What I'm saying. Last two games they've played good against tough and fast Ds. Credit where credit is due.

They did gave up many hurries and pressures. Rivers was touched and fell down a lot today. Today Rivers just happens to play like a Superman. Any other previous game this season, those pressures would've easily become a sack. Sometimes the number of sacks don't tell the whole story. He was releasing the ball really quick today, with DAL defenders all over him, with their hands in his face, he just released the ball just in time to narrowly avoid the sack.

I don't know how we can watch the 1st half and can say that the OL was doing a good job. Maybe we've watched them sucking for too long that our expectation for them is getting lower and lower?

The no sack stats today was all Rivers (and Allen, getting open on time, in sync with Rivers). The OL wasn't very good today.

The middle of the OL isn't exactly solid. Feeny, Pulley and Wiggins. It would be nice if Gordon were quicker but there aren't any gaping holes for him either. Not like Ekelar was running any better.

500 yards on that D, even with Gordon.

                  The Oline played well today.
