I can't understand why people continue to post about Spanos somehow being forced to sell the team. There is ZERO change that happens. None. Nada. Zilch. There is as much of a chance of Fleet getting a Raider tattoo on his ass than the league forcing him to sell.

I wish I could not care. But, I love watching the game too much, and as long as I'm watching I'll keep pulling for my team.

Heck, I stuck with the Cubs for my entire life. I ain't switching or going anywhere. But it's just hard to watch.

The Cubs got a good owner (Ricketts), who hired a great President (Epstein), and then hired a excellent manager (Maddon).

So maybe they Do need new ownership. But unless the NFL steps in, in some unprecedented way, the Spanos family will stay in charge.
