The impingement was probably pretty significant by 1980 and I have been dealing with low back pain ever since then. I just figured it was because of all the miles I put in running in high school and college. Do you find it uncomfortable bending over to tie your shoes? If you feel tightness and a lack of range of motion then you could have an impingement in your hips. The thing is that though the structural issues are in the hip the brain cant discern the location so it can manifest as groin, lower back and even knee pain. I probably never would have seen a ortho had I not aggravated the labral tear two years ago skiing and I'd be looking at hip replacement by the time the impingement symptoms got bad enough to see a doc. About 30% of the labrum had detached and the torn portion would either get flexed or pinched by the impingement which would cause enough pain to double me over. A good hip specialist can pretty easily diagnose an impingement by rotating the hip a certain way and a simple x-ray. This type of hip preservation surgery is pretty new, I don't believe they even had a name for the condition until the late 90s. The surgery is tough and I am probably going to need to do the other hip come early summer but I'd rather keep my original equipment as long as possible.
No, my back is stiff particularly in the morning and i have a hard time standing up straight til i loosen up. Those are the bad days though on one occasion ten years ago(ive actually had back pain for about 12 years) i couldnt move when i woke up and it took me a while to wiggle out of bed. Thats when i first went to a chiropractor(and only time)
Sitting down and bending over are not an issue.
I hope i never have an issue with my hips. Not a surgery id want to have.

What HC has won anything with mostly shit for talent? Agree with opie, that he has the team at 4-4 and Rivers having a career year is unbelievable. How about thinking what he could do with a couple more playmakers on D, a non-patchwork oline, and a RB not renowned for fumbling in the red zone?

      And jeepers den, feel better.

Acce is seriously becoming unreadable. The dude bent over backwards making excuse after excuse for AJ and Norv and now that TT and McCoy don't seem to give him inside scoop like the previous regime he goes out of his way to write drivel like this.

I don't see what he wrote as being too far off. McCoy has definitely made some mistakes but there are a lot of positives as well. I still think he has at least 14 months to prove himself. But so far he impressed and confused.

To be fair to Acee, he was always writing drivel even when he was washing AJ and Norv's balls.

weren't people already complaining about Acee being bitter even before this year because he was no longer the Chargers beat writer?

It's a shame. I used to really enjoy reading Acee's stuff. Now I don't even bother anymore.

Did Acee write that on his phone? Bleacher report "articles" had better structure and organization five years ago.

The job is too big for him? Really? Of course he had made mistakes. Bill Belichick is considered one of the best coaches in the game and still makes mistakes. That means the game is too big for him? Sorry, IMO the entire premise for the article is flawed.

Not sure what you mean - are you agreeing with Acee? About the only really dumb thing I've seen out of McCoy is the screw up with Butler being on the roster instead of inactive. Going conservative at times is something just about all coaches do and drives us fans nuts when it doesn't work (just like the prevent defense). Not sure that will change. They had a package of plays they thought would work at the goal line based on what they scouted and they didn't work out. Not sure that will change. Maybe going with 7 offensive linemen, but coaches play those odds all the time based on injuries and who they are playing.

You just listed quite a few reasons the game is over his head at times.
