I'm not sure what he was thinking. Watching it live and slow-mo he planted his leg almost underneath Charles as Charles was clearly going low. I know this will sound bad, but I would describe it as reckless, care-less, or self-inflicted. Did anyone else see it like that or was it just me?

I didn't see it that way. But if you watched the game, Charles injured 3 players with this going low for the knees thing. He also got Watt in the ribs.

I was reading the Chief forum and their fans had a thread going about how many players they have taken out with those kind of blocks this year. Most were not happy about it either.

Yeah, I mean, I hadn't seen many of the Chiefs' games this year. Really only Philly and this one. I was kind of surprised by what I was seeing.

It's interesting that in this era of "protecting the defenseless" which skews offensive, there remains very little discussion of these blocks which remain totally legal but threaten players (particularly defenders) with career ending injury.
