The NFL that I grew up with was S I M P L E... The USFL changed pro football branding and imaging and failed. Keep it simple and solid and screw the wings on the shoulder pads. I'm a closet duck fan, but I hate/hate/hate thier uniforms. These helmets are stupid.

Best uniforms in all sports are Alabama Crimson Tide, Penn State, Stanford College baseball (V necks) and the Chargers throw backs with numbers on the helmets. Keep it simple and let the product on the field do the talking

I think their helmets would look great asjust black or just gold. Hopefully they do that next year.

Jags entire uniform and color scheme has always been awful IMO. This is par for the course. They should just go all black, lose the teal and the picture of the mean cat eating helmet straps.

Disagree.....the league might have failed, but some of the unis/helmets/logos were pretty cool.

My favorite USFL team was the Michigan Panthers, mostly because they had the coolest unis & logo:

The Aztecs had fades on their helmets and I thought they looked great. The Jags helmets are hideous, it isn't a fade but more of a 50/50 split. Unknown.jpeg

Mav, I respect your Chargers board image and have so for the better part of 10 years, but damn brutha, you use that image to counterpoint my post... Really? That thing is disgusting, colors are putrid, and it screams my team is stupid, just like our logo and color scheme.... (Just my humple opinion of course)
