That play when Allen saw the ball from the left side of the field, saw it underthrown, stopped and jumped in front of the defender was just downright impressive...THAT is a possession receiver doing an excellent job on a ball. I thought it was Royal for a second based on how he landed and was aggressive in change of direction but realized it was Allen. I like that route overall...good way to let the WR make a play on it and/or get a penalty as the CB is bound to interfere.

I hope we can keep getting Allen some opportunities to grow. Floyd out certainly is allowing that. Allen deserves to be in there to go against 3rd/4th/5th DB as that should be a mismatch if he continues to develop.

I just heard that DX is on the sidelines with them and he specifically mentioned that he's been helping him between drives. That's great to hear.

That is pretty cool DX is still around the team even though he is not on it. Just terrible what has happened to him with the injuries.

He plays like that against them, was this close to a 3 TD 100+ yard receiving day , I for one have completely forgiven the little mishap with his choice of hat.

Actually, it seems like a break almost that our two top receivers got hurt. It gives Allen a million reps this year to grow with OTJ training. It looks like he's taken to our offense like a duck to water.

That this is STILL coming up is laughable. I'm sure he's relieved that you've forgiven him. Maybe you're kidding; maybe you're not. But it's such a non-issue. Can't believe it even warranted mentioning...the first time. Who cares what the guy wears? LOL!

Allen is the man. I was pretty confident that this guy would be awesome in the league after watching his highlights when we drafted him. Dare I say that he has Jerry Rice-like abilities with his moves and plays on the ball? Both him and Rice weren't the fastest runners but they knew how to make plays on the ball and after the catch to play fast in games.

He looked VERY good out there.

However, like after a poor performance I'll withold judgment for a while. The Raiders secondary isn't very good.

But I'm very encouraged by him so far.

He should have known better, Rivers running around in Bronco gear or Peyton wearing Chief gear wouldn't go over to well. For Allen, I'm pretty sure it was an honest one-time mistake, unlike that tool Trotter intentionally trying to stir things up with Chargers at Charger Park. Trotter deserved some Harbaugh snot.
