The ingram injury was crippling. Freeney is the only legit pass rusher on the team right now and he's 33 years old. This also makes the DBs look a lot worse than they are (which is pretty bad as it is. locker was attacking the marshall/patrick/butler trio of shit relentlessly. Steve Williams injury was pretty huge too). Donald Butler and Te'o (in college) are pretty good blitzers so that might help a little but this will be the downfall of the defense, and ultimately the team this year, even more so than the lack of depth. If you can't get pressure on the QB, the whole D fails.

the pressure up the middle has been non existent as well. that gives a QB a pocket to step into or scramble out from. I agree that Liuget and Reyes needs to step it up because it doesn't get any easier next week with romo

It would be nice to have a Foley first. I don't blame Telesco for our crappy OLB this season, I will next season though. Pathetic to have a 34 defense and weak OLB's like we have for so many years.

Right now we have one decent true OLB, Jarret Johnson and he's not a pass rushing threat. Ingram is sorely missed.
