Te'o confusion

Anyone else confused by this injury? When it happened I recall hearing the boot was just a precaution. I have sprained my ankles many many times. From mild sprains to severe. I know for a fact that unless it's a "high" ankle sprain, then a couple of weeks is all it takes to fully recover.

It's been a month now. It's either been purposely mis-reported by the team or it's much worse and the Chargers are not going to divulge what the injury truly is. All I know is it's getting really annoying.

The verbage comming from the team is vague at best. Foot sprain is the term I see most...

Like I mentioned, the main issue is that the team didn't correctly represent the recovery time frame. They should have said 3-4 weeks from the start. He's barely starting to be weight bearing on the foot, so it was probably a bit more severe than a mild strain or he had a setback when he took off the boot initially.

It would help if we had any idea what the team's initial diagnosis was. But they are going to be holding everything close to the vest it seems.
