The one difference is the Texans strength is on the edge so if Slater is healthy, it is strength against strength outside. The interior D line is good, but not at the level of Tampa.

if they are smart they will stunt the outside pass rushers inside...where Chargers are weakest...... so Herbert rolling out or shifting pocket to left or right may be needed...

Sounds like this may be a low scoring game, need our D to shut them down but most importantly I feel we need our special teams to shine, how about a DD punt return TD & KO return TD? Field position may be the key. Keep pinning them back all game like we did to the Colts in 2008.

If I were the Texans I'd play a heavy box with man coverage and bank on getting pressure with your outstanding edge and blitzers. It will come down to if we can scheme people open/win one on one matchups. If we can we will win this game if we can't the defense will need to step up and win it for us.

IR activations coming up soon? I think that activations from the IR are due by 1 pm PT (4 pm ET) the day before the game. I think that's what Popper said.

I still can't find the rule online anywhere.

outside of Stingley/Lassiter, that Houston secondary looks a tad vulnerable, 'specially if our Oline continues their upward tick and has some success in slowing their pass rush, and....

Henry Tutu is their Dru Tranquil.... a liability far as eye can tell ?? and not sure their other LBs are that daunting neither ??

what could be daunting is their Dline, albeit and per usual, if our Oline has a game, then think their D folds like a house o' cards, and....

if Salyer plays in place of Trey, thinkin' Jamaree is gonna be a much better option for us against Settle than having Pips in there.... Salyer is strong.

great info and great catch noticing that possible trend specific to IR activation. I'd just assumed/thought for no particular reason they just have to announce their active roster 90 min before game and could do it anytime before then. Good obs that maybe I'm wrong - will watch for anyone that knows to chime in
