I would be shocked if this was anything more than a 2 year deal with all the guaranteed money coming in the first 2 years. Probably more of that money in the 2nd year to keep our cap number in check this year.

I have a feeling they hold on to Dunlop until they have mote OL in the fold. His concussions are my concern. Id like a vet like Mangold too and that gives us options on center. Franklin I hope gets his head out of his arse and plays better this year. Having Mangold to me would settle our OL down even if hes only a 2 year and dine id do it.

For a team in need of some stability on the offensive line, Russell Okung might not be the best option. These are desperate times for the Los Angeles Chargers, however, with Orlando Franklin (44.2 grade in 2016) and King Dunlap (48.2 grade) both struggling mightily in pass protection. The caveat is that Okung wasn’t much better (55.0 grade) a season ago. He allowed 57 combined QB pressures, ranking 51st of 61 qualifying tackles in pass-blocking efficiency.
