I don't think one has anything to do with the other. Gordon is the featured back, and Woodhead is the 3rd down and change of pace. We would just be looking for someone else to fill those roles if Woodhead didn't do it.

Remember, even LT was never our 3rd down back. He played slot WR in our 3rd down offense the year he caught all those passes, but he was never the true 3rd down back.
