I’m gonna double up with Rich and conclude no amount of Henley elation can move the Staley dipshit meter. That meter pegged at 11 too long ago to ever be moved by anything now. Appreciate and agree with your point though, I called for Henley’s draft last year, and was very disappointed in Staley’s lack of utilization.

Agree and now we have a real coach that can unleash him and use him like he should be used. I suspect we'll see a big jump in a lot of holdover players this year.

Plus, Henley will be paired with other competent players, so that he can focus on doing his job, while everybody else is competently doing *theirs*.

Aw, shucks. I like all y'all's choices but I'm going to go out on a limb with Justin Herbert.
I'm tired of "never won a playoff game" and "Mahomes is easily the best QB in the NFL"
Light 'em up Justin! Let's rack up the W's. Be the contender we all thought you would be.

I could see just about everyone listed in this thread being a breakout player. Chargers have basically changed roughly half the team. Lots of new players....especially guys who were injured or had down years last year but are playing great under Harbaugh so far.

How about DJ who is finally going to be used correctly this season becoming the domitating player he appeared to be as a rookie?

I would have guessed Kimani Vidal but, now that we have picked up Haskins, I don't think Vidal will get enough runs to make a big impact. I'm going to say Deane Leonard.

                    Rashawn Slater.
Him and Alt are very good in space.
We will run very successfully to the left.
Slater's straight power will keep defenders on their heals, which will additionally end up easing his pass pro load.
