Watson would make sense. It is going to take a couple of years for him to get ready to be a real NFL QB. He has a lot of work on his mechanics and learning to be a drop back passer. A couple of years behind Rivers is not a horrible idea.
he could do some of the Dak Prescott thing in a pinch, but Prescott was a lot further along as a decision maker. And Prescott is not a great drop back passer. He is still not what ost teams look for ina qb. Stick him on a team with a poor OL and weak running game, he would not be able to carry the team throwing a ton. He has to learn how to run the 5 step passing game, and that takes time. Even Goff and Wentz have a lot to learn about being NFL QB's, and they are a lot further along than Watson (or Prescott).
