Leatherwood is the big mystery on the Practice Squad, to me anyway.

I'm glad Morris-Brash cleared waivers and was signed. IMO, he's qualified for a rotational role. True, he lacks the sand in his pants to be more of a force against the run, which means he's not starting material. But he was undrafted, so-- duh!-- we knew *that*. He does a lot of things well, though, and I hope he gets an opportunity to shine.

On August 28, 2024, Mustipher was signed to the Los Angeles Chargers' practice squad.

With Bozeman having had some injury problems, and Jaimes as the reserve, getting *the right* center is a solid move here.

I don't know if Sam Mustipher IS *that* guy, but I appreciate the effort to reinforce the center position.

The 2024 signings set them up for minimizing needs for the 2025 draft:

#1 Need: TE - Michigan Loveland! The best one
#2 DT If they get QB Huntley or CJ Beathard (worked w/ Coach Day) this off season.
#3 QB Backup (QB class is very WEAK)

They got their LT McClellon once off IR. He's good.
They got their Center (from Denver)
They got their Edge Rusher in Tre'Moni Morris Brash
Considering who's on their final year w/ the Bolts, it's great depth everywhere else!

Leatherwood seems to be a lot like Pipkins was before he improved. In other words he has the potential to be at least a quality back up but his confidence or whatever intangible is getting in the way too much. It's too bad. I hope our coaches can make a difference with him.
