Yup. Those are the two spots (QB/TE) for me too. I can't see Jim Harbaugh having only three TE's on the roster when two will likely be playing in the game at the same time. Could Harbaugh be thinking of playing Fehoko at TE? Seems to have the size.

      Ok...maybe not that funny...but true...

I fully, 100% expect Perez to be added to the P.S., if he clears waivers. Which he mostly likely will. Stick is history.

I'd say OLB. There were a few good ones the team could have kept around but didn't make the roster, at least for now. Not to mention Joey Bosa's injury history.

The Bolts have a staffer who keeps track off all of these movements, and the personnel guys have 'check marks' by the names of certain players they'd want to take a look at, should that player become available.

In other words, they've known about P.J. Walker for a while, and either are interested, or not. This won't be a new thing to ponder.

I'm thinking, "How could there *not* be at least 3 available quarterbacks out there that Joe Hortiz would consider the right degree of upgrade he's looking for?!?"

Logic says that Hortiz has been on the phone today, trying to land this year's QB2.

where are you cutting? I doubt this happens, they have 4 starter-grade OLB/DEs on the roster. other positions are weaker, this is their strength.

but then again, i'm wrong alot.

Joe should figure out what player CLE cut to make room to hold onto 4 QBs, sign him, and then offer to trade him back for that QB

They let the one's that stung go at free agency.

FA/Trade - yep. had to, but I felt it.

                        2. JT Woods. Why, what is about him that screams "keep me?"

                        3. Seven WRs.

I am very stoked about having 7 WRs on the roster. I didn't think they would do it. But it's what I would do. When you turnover the WR corps like they did this season, it's smart to roster a plethora of young talent to see what you have or don't have in these guys to rebuild the WR room. Love it! I hope they can sneak Cornelius Johnson onto the PS. I think he has legit NFL chops.
I am shocked as well. Smart is just camp fodder. Not big, not fast, can’t block or catch. Parham does have some unique qualities. I guess the coaches see something, or he has dirt on the coaches.

Decisions like this PROVE that the coaches not only SEE something, but have evidence of upside.

Wasn't Smartt a QB in college? I can totally see how he'd need some time to develop into a competent NFL player at an entirely different position. If he's doing that?!? Good on him!
