Most people are talking about how next April's draft is not a good one for quarterbacks, but I don't think it's a good one overall. If we could trade back from the twenties to the mid-thirties (the way Belichick did with us when we moved up for Kenneth Murray in 2020) and get at least an extra third-round pick, I think that will help us. Although I'm going to want a pass-rusher after Bosa is cut and Khalil Mack's possible departure, I'm not sure there will be one worth our pick when we're up in the first round. Moving out of the first round and selecting a running back in the thirties would be great, as far as I'm concerned. Then we could use the other second-round pick and two thirds on the other positions you mentioned.

Running backs are always undervalued in the draft, so I think there will be a few good ones left at the end of the second round and possibly early third. But then again, with the way Saquon Barkley, Derrick Henry, and Josh Jacobs are performing at an elite level after signing with three of the best teams this past offseason, I believe there's a possibility many general managers are going to covet the top running backs in the next draft. That could lead to the top running backs going higher than what has occurred in recent drafts.
You could be right abour RBs getting more attention due to NFL results this year and the 2025 draft being the best RB draft ina few years.

The knock I have heard on 2025 draft is the depth. There are good players but the talent doesnt go as deep as last year. That to me doesnt sounds like a trade down draft with the talent at the top. Plus if comp pick forecasts are accurate we will have 11 picks already.

It's all cool--a deeper dive is mandatory.

I have only begun to scrutinize the IOL.

A common thought is that we need a receiving TE--I would argue WR.

Another very common thought is that we must upgrade IOL.

      Tate Ratledge Offensive Guard Georgia

Throughout his college career, Ratledge has been a key contributor to Georgia's offensive success. In 2023, he was part of an offensive line that ranked first in the SEC and seventh nationally in sacks allowed (0.93 per game). His performance helped Georgia's offense finish second in the SEC and fifth in the nation in total offense (496.5 yards per game), offensive passing efficiency (168.21), and scoring offense (40.1 points per game). Ratledge's consistency is evident in his career stats, allowing only one sack and committing just three penalties over 1,581 snaps.

Chargers need a TE that can control the center of the field. IMHO, that alone would open up things for the WR, but I also agree the Chargers need another legit WR.
