Warren is a Harbs and Roman player, i do know that.
Agreed . I just said I like Warren better than Egbuka or Burden, the WRs that might be in that range. I dont think we need a small receiver, i think we need an X who can get downfield and be one WR on the Chargers who can make contested catches.

I dont see any IOL in this draft worth a first round pick. BPA doesnt have to be TE, it could be DT, Edge, CB etc but not OG , no need to reach. I hope they look at IOL in FA.

While watching these highlights you also can see the center Logan Jones #65. I really like him as a run blocker. Not sure how he is in pass pro because Iowa doesn't pass much. In my mock I have Jones in the 6th rnd.
      Fine prospect!

Jeanty is great but I also dont see the need to give up high end assets that it would take to move way up in first round. Not with 3 down backs like Kaleb Johnson, Omarion Hampton, Judkins, Henderson and many others i have listed available in rounds 2 to 5

For the offense they want to run I do thiink we do need to take advantage of this great RB class and come away with a 1B to go with Dobbins as 1A...if they even keep him.

At least JKs injury will bring some good...a deep evaluation of Kimani Vidal...which will help inform our decisions next year with that position group...

I hope they play him, and not cede carries to Harbaugh's favorite plodder Haskins

Is it just me, or does Haskins look like another Rountree/Kelley/Spiller clone?
              (hint: he's averaging 2 ypc...)

He mostly gets GL or 3rd or 4th and 1 carries. He rarely gets a regular carry.
Vidal should be active this week.

I like Alt and am fine with last draft but good right tackles come in every draft, Bowers once ina blue moon. But yes no one is suggesting a top 15 pick on a TE this draft.

Right now we pick 24 and Warren is suitable value there. I like what Warren would bring more than the WRs that would be available there like Egbuka. I think we lack a bigger X type and Tmac is long gone

Alt is not a avg RT tho he looks like a future all pro and no that isnt something that comes every year. I dont mind the weapons we got much more interested in getting interior OL upgrades and and run stuffing DL. Higgins in free agency is who im hoping for.

                    78) San Francisco 49ers

                    Dontay Corleone, DT, Cincinnati

Poona Ford is still alive and well in the NFL. However, if he had somehow shed DNA and become reincarnated as a child, the result would be Dontay Corleone. Despite playing in a horrific scheme to show off pass-rushing talent, Corleone flashed as a rusher early in the season before sliding back into a gap-plugging role on a Mickey Mouse three-down defense that asks A LOT of the bulldog in the middle.

San Francisco has missed a stout interior presence since D.J. Jones left in free agency, and Corelone could eventually fill that hole.

I wouldn't mind seeing us trade out of the first round next April, like how Belichick used to do it almost every year. Most people are talking about how next April's draft is not a good one for quarterbacks, but I don't think it's a good one overall. If we could trade back from the twenties to the mid-thirties (the way Belichick did with us when we moved up for Kenneth Murray in 2020) and get at least an extra third-round pick, I think that will help us. Although I'm going to want a pass-rusher after Bosa is cut and Khalil Mack's possible departure, I'm not sure there will be one worth our pick when we're up in the first round. Moving out of the first round and selecting a running back in the thirties would be great, as far as I'm concerned. Then we could use the other second-round pick and two thirds on the other positions you mentioned.

Running backs are always undervalued in the draft, so I think there will be a few good ones left at the end of the second round and possibly early third. But then again, with the way Saquon Barkley, Derrick Henry, and Josh Jacobs are performing at an elite level after signing with three of the best teams this past offseason, I believe there's a possibility many general managers are going to covet the top running backs in the next draft. That could lead to the top running backs going higher than what has occurred in recent drafts.

Let's make Don Corleone an offer he can't refuse...

Its not just you. Haskins is a Harbaugh favorite from Michigan, he is a play special teams, pass protect, short yardage sort of a guy ..."he does the litttle things well "...but as runner in the NFL he is in the plodder category, not a playmaker.

If you want to bring any juice to the offense with JK out its time to give Kimani more snaps
