Yeah, those 2 guys make my list, too. The edge rushers are abundant this year. You can get a good one still on the back end of the 1st round.

Unranked South Carolina is laying an ass-kicking on #10 Texas A&M.

Some notable players on South Carolina who played very well tonight and could interest us:

      1. Running back Raheim "Rocket" Sanders: 20 carries for 144 yards and two touchdowns. Five receptions for 92 yards.
      2. Tight end Joshua Simon: four receptions for 132 yards and two touchdowns.
      3. Defensive tackle T.J. Sanders: one sack and one tackle for loss.

I continue to be unimpressed with Texas A&M defensive end Nic Scourton, whom some have as a first-round pick. He does have five sacks on the year.

Tennessee edge James Pearce, Jr. has a sack and tackle for loss tonight against Kentucky. He has 4.5 sacks on the year. I would love to know how many pressures he has tonight, though, because nearly every time I focus on him he seems to be hurrying the quarterback or being held. He's a very good prospect.

As always, I appreciate your draft takes. I would argue that much of the same thinking about EDGE applies to DBs.

Minter defense simply does not emphasize speed EDGE. We play the run and contain.

In additional to other positions of interest, there is a growing list of DTs.

I see Jeanty as a lottery pick. There are numerous TEs in the 30-40 range. I think we may go for a guard to put the exclamation point on our offensive line.

It is still very early, even with all the drooling over what our TPB NCAA scouts are seeing each successive Saturday.

Charger drafting will be greatly affected by how the rest of this NFL season goes for us.

I guess I’m not down with a HC spending their Saturdays popping off to college games every week the night before his own NFL game. 2.5 + 4 + 2.5 = 9 hrs. Maybe once in the season, but not as a regular habit. Send your scouts, watch the film, make a call if you want to talk to someone, … surely there’s something you could be doing related to your own team with your own current staff?

            did He turn up there?

It's always great to talk prospects with you Woody.
I agree... the DB's look good, too.
Minter did it many ways, with different player types @Michigan.
DT's, TE's, IOL"s, and RB's are usually not in my 1st round cluster... but I am open to BPA.
If that is outside my "premium position" philosophy... I am fine with that.
I have just started looking at highlights.
Once a few have caught my eye, I'll start diving into full game tapes... there is very little of that out there right now.

Exactly and why im not really into speculating what we may want or need in what round, etc...kinda ridiculous as we will be players in FA'cy. We got a long way to go.

I get an LT vibe from Jeanty.

Yes...outside of Bijon, the only running back in years I would consider in the first...and that includes the years we selected Mathews and Gordon...

I watched the Aztec game, and see some of it. I think LT had a better jump cut move but Jeanty is a stronger beast while still being very nimble and quick. He is as fast as LT, I think. Dude has legs as thick as a waste and abuses defenders0. He had "only" 149 yards but he gained at least 80 of those after contact. They never stopped him once where they first hit him. he made two TD runs look very easy.

he's really good. He would change our offense imo.

Even beyond Jeanty, who is the jewel, this is a fantastic RB draft class. We really need to grab one in the first 4 rounds where the studs are. Or at least round 5.
