I wouldn’t consider us deep at DB. If some of these guys end up on the PS, that’s ok with me

EDIT - sorry I was late to the game - didn’t realize Boltnut already posted this!"The author assumes no responsibility or liability for any errors or omissions in the content of this post. Zach Heins is a very good TE. He can block, runs the seam well, and is a big man 6'7" with very soft hands. Is he a TE #1? No, he's not that kind of athlete. But he's so good in Play action. He can go in motion and lead block, and he was an absolute beast in FCS. The only reason his numbers weren't better is that the Jackrabbits were loaded at WR, RB, and TE (Tucker Kraft was ahead of him the year before).
I'm not saying he's a lock to make the roster... but he's got a good shot. He's pretty damn good.
Also, played the 2023 National Championship game with a broken bone in his foot. Would not sit out, and was in a walking boot after the game, when he came off the field.
You guys will love him."The author assumes no responsibility or liability for any errors or omissions in the content of this post. The information contained in this post is provided on an "as is" basis with no guarantees of completeness, accuracy, usefulness or timeliness..."

A lot of Telesco bagging, but he was better than we let on ..... just was hamstrung by not knowing how to draft interior players, and getting a collection of bad head coaches
so that he had to keep drafting for different preferences every 4 years, with zero positive input by the head coaches.“Less is more? NO NO NO - MORE is MORE!”

IMO, even if he doesn't develop into an NFL caliber receiver, Johnson should be a valuable special teamer in the meantime. He played for a successful (to say the least!) program against a high caliber of competition, and has size, speed, and is an outstanding athlete. I think this is exactly the kind of guy you take a 7th round flyer on.
