Around here, Comcast has had that 250gb limit for years, and has never hesitated to dock you $20 for every 50gb over. Which is one of many reasons I never do business with them.

Uverse advertised 250gb limit, but didn't enforce it or provide tools to monitor. They just started in May, but raised it to 1tb.

That said, having no cable, 3 kids with tablets and during the summer months the most we ever hit was 350gb. WTH are you streaming?

Games are the killer.

Just about every game requires constant internet connection.

And I stream in hd.
