Alt had better be great. Herbert better not be sacked off the edge one time this season. They passed up some good players to get Alt.
I think Round 1 of Jim vs Joe is settled. As are questions about his review of Pip tape. Onward, Trust In Jim

Much like Glass Joe, I'm happy, but believe we will have overpaid.

No. Slater is too good and already established.

I can’t argue with this pick. I know a lot of bolt fans wanted to flashy, wide receiver, but we’ve been there and done that. Harbaugh is building a different team here. Already bringing on three tight ends and those two big running backs from Baltimore, this is the way we are going now. Harbaugh wants to own the line of scrimmage, pound the rock and set up the pass. I like it. I’m excited. To book and tackles for years and years to come.

Not the sexy pick, WR/TE for sure would have been.

But, bottom line their is never a bad time to take a OL, and we got the best.

Herbert going to have time to be a surgeon behind our big uglies involved in Trench Warfare.

                    Never a doubt from Nutty.

Remember some here thinking Sewell had to stay at LT. Look at him now.

That’s the only consolation in this pick. Alt is the better tackle. But I’m still disappointed.

When I was younger, I liked those playmakers. Still do, of course. As I’ve gotten older. I more appreciate a strong foundation. I have no problem with the pick. The better the line, the better the offense. They are interconnected. I definitely expect a solid addition to the WR room later on in this draft.
