Last night, decided to get some ice cream, when I got there, line was out the door, good thing we put in an order online. Before I walked in, I saw a dude in a Raiders jersey on, walking towards me with his daughter. I just said less than two weeks, it’s on. He replied, yeah, they looked pretty good last night. He assumed I was a Raider fan, I didn’t correct him, because the jersey he had on…52 Mack!!! I just said, yup!

What’s the point of keeping 2 backup QBs on the 53 man roster? The 2nd probably gets zero reps during the week. In the unlikely case of an emergency, just activate the 2nd backup QB for the next weeks game off the practice squad. Not a chance he gets stolen away beforehand. Hell, if QB #2 were to go down during a game, I bet one of the guys could fill for that one game. It’s happened before.

I explained the reason, and how it would be temporary. You carry 3 on week 1 because the backup you really want just got here and is not ready to go into a game and run our offense. You have a backup QB in case you need a Qb in the middle of a game, so you keep Stick until new guy is ready, then you cut Stick

The Raven's way is to sit mid round lineman a year & develop them. Probably applies to corners.
If they have shown anything, they'll be on the roster.

Eboigbe has been Meh, but I also doubt he gets cut, Hart has been meh but same, I can't see them moving on from either guys so soon, and Sarrell has been solid, he's our only viable swing tackle, I know Nutty loves Jamaree but he's no swing tackle and he's hurt to boot, can't see them going with just 8 OL...I also have Rumph going to IR and Brash making the 53, how can he not?

Im going to stay with Rice making the team. Based on in TC he was with the first team often in drills and he showed real well with Herbert at QB and he is one of the better blockers of the WRs. He has upside and also, its preseaon.....Fehoko did show well but so did Bandy. Two scout recievers with Stick.

Fehoko isnt a rookie anymore and he COULD make it but of the two im going with Rice. Id be shocked if they keep 7 WRs.

TC practices and scrimages will be a big factor as well imo. Not Rices fault Stick didnt throw any good passes to him. Not like he had drops like Jalen Johnson. With Herbert he was good and has some chemistry with him and that will trump Preseason imo.

We have swing tackles (Salyer, Pipkins) at OG.
Eboigbe hasn't proven he's better than Matlock.
Cam Hart hasn't proven he's better than 2 or 3 CB's in front of him.
