This what I always thought... People need a scapegoat.

For all you Tee Higgins fans who want Trader Joe to sign him this offseason, look how many drops he has so far this year:

That's right: ZERO DROPS FOR TEE. Note to Trader Joe: SIGN HIM!

an important number there is the number of games started this season, at 30 plus million a year? Hell no! Do we really want a guy that will be missing half of the season yearly? Higgins hasn't done himself any favors this year pulling himself out of games with a mystery hamstring and why? Because he was pissed about getting only like 23 million on the franchise tag?! How many guys in the NFL will never make that in a career? Do some research because a lot was written about whether or not he was actually injured and with their team struggling both him and Chase created a toxic situation in that locker room this season over money, fuck that shit, we don't need that element on our team from our WR corps, Mahommes has won what, two super bowls since they shipped one of those assholes out of KC? give me a couple more McConkeys and you can keep your prima donna type WRs, the hell with those guys...

Fehoko might be a dark horse on that list of WRs that might stick around long term, he's the new Jalen Guyton, He seems to have a lot of rapport with Herbert, even now that he's on IR he's always close by Justin hanging out with and talking to him during games on the sideline, also his role in the offense seemed to be expanding right around the time he got hurt, just speculation but I'm thinking Fehoko might be one of Herbet's guys going forward and he won't cost much to keep around...PLUS he's a beast on STs...

didn't Apple leave the Ravens game due to injury? to me this is the AJ Finely roster spot, the Chargers lost Finley to the Seahawks on waivers, they took a chance cutting him because he was hurt and were probably going to bring him right back either to the PS or back to the main roster but now he's a Seattle Seahawk, yay I'm so glad we still have Stick on the roster...

As you know, he was the Director of Scouting for years before he ascended to President through nepotism.

It would be far fetched for me to believe he had no interest and didn’t meddle with drafts and FA after his promotion when the scouting department was still in his organization.

Particularly with Telesco, who in the past said he was a “consensus” type guy.

I don’t fault Telesco considering your boss is also the owner. It would take a better man than me to not say, “What do you think, Johnny”?

Why not, we have done this many times in past for players who play less. Bosa, to many CB to list…

I understand his background, working his way up through the food chain. Ironically, since he worked as an actual scout before becoming director of scouting, he is much more qualified than anyone on this forum to evaluate a player.

That said, all Presidents of Football Operations have an interest in the draft and are at least peripherally involved. I just think it is funny that people actually believe he meddles in it with absolutely nothing to back that up. We all recognize that the Spanos tenure has been pretty bad through the years until the JH/JH hires. It sure looks like they (finally) hit home runs with both of those hires.

I am not so sure about that -- if many people on this forum were given his opportunities - I am sure many would be better at it. I have heard John Boy talk - that kid is nepotism all the way
If he worked for another organization - that would be one thing

We need to raise the WR bar around here! No more mining practise squads for Herbert's "playmakers"
