Hortiz has probably been working his a** off talking to other GMs about trades, I don't doubt he's been talking to NE about Osborne. But that doesn't mean he's made or will make the trade. Osborne was drafted by the Vikes 176th overall in 2020. In 2020-21 he posted 110 catches for 1305 yds and 12 TDs. Last season with the Vikes his production was somewhat less, due to Cousins going down. He would help round out this WR corps that does not have an established #1 yet but is deep with solid WRs who can produce. That approach has worked well for a few teams, most notably the Packers. It might work well for Herbert.
