What Peter failed to realize was that the Chargers had re-vamped their OL in the offseason.

Not really surprised by the "experts" predictions. If you look at the Chargers roster last year it was absolute garbage. The question is do you believe it was player talent or shitty coaching? There are a few of us that think the player talent/roster is not as bad as some are making it out to be and it was lack of/shitty coaching that handicapped the talent on the roster. I really believe this team is going to surprise a lot of people this year.

Similar situations. The Chargers were 4-12 in 2003 so 2004 probably didn't look much better. Brees was not established and Gates had just finished his rookie season. Lots of unknowns just like this Chargers team.
