Don't say that in front of him. Dude is 270lbs of muscle and can hurt you.......but not until you hurt his feelings first.

Chase Young might be leaving San Fran as the cost could be high and they are worried about injuries
San Fran is still in win-mode
Would they take a chance on Bosa squared - granted Joeys also has injury concerns - but maybe playing on real grass alleviates some of those possibly

Bosa squared would be a sight to see. I mean prior to conception they were the two sperm whom won fertilizing the egg....now QB. Sex-education from the PowderBlues folks!!

Niners have their own 3rd and a comp 3rd
their own 4th and a 4th from the Cowboys (I think Lance trade)
have their own 5th and a comp 5th

Lets just exchange comp picks for Joey - I am feeling generous today
Niners hand over the 3rd rounder comp pick
Chargers will hand over the 7th rounder and Joey Bosa --

          seems fair to me

Hey at least you get something...but do we still need to pay Bosa?

Thank for this. I'm going to adjust.
These 33 players above are part of next year 53 man roster. They need 20 players.
7 from draft. Unless Joe Hortiz trades back to get more picks or trades players for picks. Add 1 or 2 targeted UFAs and some discount UFAs and a couple UDFA to get to 53.

Who has it better than us?

I don't know if you remember when Joey's dad, John, a defensive end out of Boston College, was drafted by the Dolphins in the first round in the '80s. First thing he did was blow out his knee. Then he blew out his other knee. He barely saw the field and was out of the league by age 24 or 25. One of the biggest injury busts in league history.

Wow that's interesting. They should have better quality rehab these days but that injury history.

No - not paying Bosa another penny. 49ers take on his contract

I was being facetious about swapping comp picks ---not being facetious about one of there picks in Rounds 3 or even 4.

Spanos has sucked since the let go Marty, but now we cannot second guess what they have done this year. They no longer suck

I think we should look at what FA CHARGERS NEED to COMPETE NEXT YEAR. THIS WILL HELP WITH WHO WE dont bring back.

Harbaugh is to smart to Fully Wax The V. He will mix vets with pupils. Harbaugh believes college players should get paid and loves vets …especially Vets….Frank Gore.

So MW vs KA and Bosa vs Mack = Injury vs Age. So I think he will keep one of each side, and pay and cap are are not far apart.

so if we keep a 1 WR and1 Edge what FA do we want to bring in before the draft.

i think a vet RB, LB and CB are on that list because we don’t have good vets in those positions.

if we fill those, we can Focus on OL, CB, DL, TE in first 3 rds. All will need to be starters in 2024.

The Wolves of TPB are biting wu's kneecaps.

                          blueman

                          OK bluey, and fellow draftniks.
Here it is re my "weird ideas."
Ben Herbert says we must dig deeper
                          in the next two months.

                          #5 and Khalil's contract for #19, #51, #83.
Yes Bowers, the WRs, even Dallas Turner must be in play @ #5.
But we would be lucky to make this trade. It gives a chance to quickly build a Harbaugh type roster.
It is Mack who has the tradeable circumstances.

I think the Rams would bite.
                          They have Giff for Mack.
                          They have Kroenke's deep pocket
for extending Khalil to soften the cap hit.
                          They have projected comp picks
                          to cover losing their 2 & 3.

In looking at our OL I see a group of young players we need to ascend. That would involve coaching, weight training and a leader. Enter JPJ @ #19, just before Pittsburgh.

I do not sense that we are in the market for weapons.
I do not see TEs as having a particularly dynamic role, just roles that are specific.

                          Darius Robinson @ #37.
                          Perfect Slotting at mid 30s.
Minter likes big, long guys up front.
                          This dude has inside/outside flexibility.
We want to move people around, stunting and rotating them for freshness.
Bosa, Tuli, DarRob, Fox, Okoye, Crumedy fit this mold.
There's a few fatties in the middle.

Junior Colson and Two Double Meat Arbys.
This slight overdraft of "our new Junior" is obvious to me. He will not be there @ #69 and is vital. Here's our consistent, mistake-free Green Dot, who already manages the Minter defense. Benson/Braelon are our "RBs."

Khyree @ #105 and Later Picks.
We have a screaming need for an Outside Corner and I choose this one. Barner, White, Jr, and Crumedy fill out our roster.

Finally, to be brief, I know you don't like many of my remaining personnel ideas at all. Good health, improvement and contract adjustments are not just assumed, but obviously also feed directly into mandatory for cap compliance with our existing available resources.

Easy now, I am guessing, just like all of you.
                          Hortiz will be "Trader Joe."
There's always the late, late bargain vets, like Van Noy and Callahan once were.
                          Get comfortable with being uncomfortable.
